Welcome to the Middlesex Secondary Partnership website

Middlesex University works in partnership with educational settings across London and local education authorities beyond London, such as Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and Hertfordshire. The partnership supports approximately 200 secondary trainees on a range of routes to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) as well as providing continuing support to Middlesex NQTs and recently qualified teachers starting their teaching careers in our partnership schools. Almost all Middlesex trainees find their first appointments in partnership schools, supplying the demand for good and outstanding teachers.
The Middlesex partnership comprises schools and settings which serve ethnically and linguistically diverse communities and many are also in challenging socio-economic contexts. This provides both trainees and teachers with rich opportunities for learning so that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful practitioners, successfully tackling access and achievement issues and making an impact on education in London schools and beyond.

The University constantly seeks to develop new ways to build stronger relationships which can use the expertise of both Middlesex staff and our partners, and to that end we maintain strong lines of communication with our partners and levels of support for our trainees. This site is dedicated to hosting files and information to support Secondary ITT at Middlesex University for the academic year 2016 - 17.
